Semi Precious Stone Chrysoprase Earing
Due to its relative scarcity and pleasing green
color, Chrysoprase is one of the most prized varieties of quartz.
Higher quality specimens often competitor fine jade,
for which it is sometimes mistaken. Cut into cabochons (smooth
domed gem
stones with flat backs for use in jewelry),
it can be as required after as fine amethyst.
The highest quality fabric is a rich apple green
of even colour, without flaws, fractures, inclusions, cavities
or other imperfections.
Healing ability: Chrysoprase
is the rarest member of the Chalcedony family that is found in
the U.S., Brazil, and Australia. Chrysoprase
is believed to prevent depression and also to improve equilibrium,
balance, communication, eloquence, hope, youthfulness, and a
higher consciousness. Legend says that Chrysoprase
is a protector of young animals and young children.
