MUMBAI, DEC 14: India's gem and jewelry exports during Apr-Nov fell to Rs 50, 77,400 crore ($11.13 billion), was down by 1.01% from the year-ago period, according to study from Gem and Jewelry Export Promotion Council. The fall in exports was led by the cut and polished diamond part, down 14.93% to Rs 31,47,600 crore ($6.89 billion). Cut and polished diamond part accounts for 80% of India's gem and jewelry exports, followed by gold jewelry and colored gemstone.
