Sri Lanka predicts its gem and jewelry exports to go up by another 10 per cent this year and assist it earn US$100 million in revenue. But last week, several months after a Martin County jury concluded Steve Clark staged the event, the former jeweler was verdict to 15 years in prison and an additional seven years of probation.

He sentence ends – no less than for now – the illegal proceedings involving the Clarks, whose marriage and family crumbled with the ruin of their business, their public arrests and a bombardment of lawsuits from creditors that last year encouraged a public auction of jewels from their store.
