Karat:
Karat (abbreviated Kt or K) is calculate of the fineness of gold equal to 1/24 part. Pure gold is 24 karat gold, 18K gold is 18/24 gold, 14K gold is 14/24 gold, 12K gold is 12/12 (precisely half gold). Note that the term carat is used as determine of weight for gemstones.
 
Kunzite:
Kunzite is a hard pink gemstone, an assortment of spodumene with the awesome color coming from manganese. It was named after George Frederick Kunz, who in fact discovered it in Connecticut, USA in 1901. It is currently mined in Brazil, USA, Canada, CIS, Mexico and also Sweden.
 
Koroit Opal:
