Used to describe stones that are clear and broadcast
light so that objects could be seen through the stone. Many fine excellence
colored stones such as ruby, citrine, or topaz are transparent.

& Co. shortly after the gem's were exposed, an obvious allusion to
its country of origin.

Tiger iron is calm of tiger's eye, red jasper and
also black hematite. The rippled wavy bands of color frequently resemble
a scenic view.

Topaz is very common gemstone that has been used
little centuries in jewelry. Its golden brown to yellow color is typical
but it is puzzled with the less precious citrine which is sold under
the name topaz.
