JaKob Bengel produces chains and costume jewelry since 1873 and the visitors will make a journey to the times of mechanic production from 1870 – 1990. The typical mid size factory of the former costume jewelry production, the layout of the factory, quarters for the workers are unique in the whole region. Especially, it is preserved in its original construction. Since 2003, art deco jewelry of jakob bengel of 20’s and 30’s is reproduced according to their own pattern books with original tools. The jewelry of this style completely experiences a renaissance.
