The items in this special exhibition were loaned by 13 members of the Gem
Artist of North America (GANA), an organization of about 100 people committed to the advancement of gemstone lapidary art. Showcasing some of the top lapidary artists in the world, the exhibit features work by Glenn Lehrer, Thomas McPhee, Kreg Scully, and Slava Tulupov, who for the second year, won the AGTA Cutting Edge Competition for one of his lapidary art pieces at a recent American Gem Trade Association (AGTA) competition.
The exhibition also features SKY DRAGON, a turquoise, opal, and gold
necklace by Elizabeth Lyons Beunaiche. Other exquisite pieces featured include Thomas McPhee’s SUN PRINCESS, a necklace of agate, diamond, garnet, and gold, and Nicolai Medvedev’s intarsia box entitled PRINCESS OF DREAMS. IN all, 14 stunning pieces will be on display.
