As the name suggests, it is an exceptional seven-sided diamond, weighing 132.87carats, completely flawless without any inclusions. The gem has its origin in Brazil and it is the world's tenth largest white diamond. The Graff diamond corporation cut the rough stone into paragon shape and set it in 190.27 carats combinational necklace-bracelet setting. The necklace features the fabulous colored diamonds along with a brilliant paragon diamond, which is D-colored.

Characteristics of the diamond :

It is an extraordinary sparkling stone with unique kite cut. The colorless gem is flawless both internally and externally with the enormous weight of 132.87carats. Being D-colored gem, it is a type II diamond which is free from nitrogen. They are considered to be structurally perfect because the atoms of this valuable stone do not undergo any plastic deformations. Paragon diamond is the tenth largest faceted diamond, fifth largest flawless, D-color diamond and seventh largest kite shaped diamond in the world.

Origin of the diamond :

It is believed that during the last decade of 20th century, the rough diamond was earthed in the Brazil. The clear information about the history of the gem such as mine of origin, date of discovery and circumstances during discovery etc., are all unknown. At present, the precious stone is owned by the world's renowned diamond dealing and manufacturing company, the Graff Corporation of Diamonds, in London. In Antwerp, Laurence Graff purchased the exotic rough stone and transformed into seven sided diamond with the help of his professional master cutters. After the cutting and polishing of the stone, it is set in a unique piece of ornament, which is a combination of necklace - bracelet setting; weighing 190.27 carats. Apart from the distinct paragon diamond the masterpiece jewelry, also includes colored gems such as vivid blue, yellow and pink diamonds. In 1999, Naomi Campbell, the super model, worn this elegant jewelry, in a prestigious diamond exhibition, sponsored by De-Beers Company and grabbed the world wide attention.
