Glittering Stones
Deepdene ,

Deepdene is a 104.52 carats (20.90g) cushion cut irradiated diamond. It is the largest irradiated yellow diamond which was first revealed at Christie's auction house in Geneva. The name is derived from the Pennsylvania estate of Mrs. Bok, wife of Cary W. Bok, the diamonds original owners. During that time, the diamond weighs more than the current weigh 104.88 carats (20.98 g) and mounted in a diamond clip.

The German gemological institute and the University of Mainz certify the diamond clarity as VVS1 and the stone contains minute flaws near the girdle. Currently, deepdene diamond forms part of Philadelphia science museum.

Harry Winston obtained the diamond from Boks in 1954 and found its way to London firm at 1960.
